Those who have been modding DAI might have heard about Frosty Editor and Frosty Mod Manager. In case you haven't heard of it though, it's a modding tool that works universally for all Frostbite games, such as DAI, MEA etc. Up until recently though, it was difficult to use it along with old mods that used DAI Mod Manager.
However, Frosty received a major update! Now you can drag old daimods into Frosty Mod Manager, and it'll convert them all. Mods that can be configured also work. What does this mean for modding DAI?
You can now use all sorts of cosmetic mods without fear of crashing BE or the dlc area, and you can also deshine everyone and everything now. (see edits below for details)- Frosty Editor allows for far more things to do than the previous Mod Maker, so new types of mods are and will be coming from modders (hopefully).
- You don't have to re-merge your mods every time you want to change something (I have hundreds of mods and that's the thing that's made me reee the most).
- It's still in development, so improvements will keep coming.
Edit2: I've been testing things myself so far, and it appears hairstyles a lot of cosmetic mods converted from daimod don't work in dlc, even if they're supposed to. Other cosmetic mods seem to be working, but for hairstyles you might want to keep Mod Manager around and use a hybrid of MM/Frosty mods.
Here's a cheat sheet which hairstyle can be modded for dlc with MM: http://dracoangel.tumblr.com/post/155180848794/hair-mods-trespasser-compatibility

Frosty Tool Suite Tutorial
Frosty ToolSuite was developed and released by GalaxyEham.
These tutorials will quickly walk you through a basic understanding of how to begin using the Frosty Mod Manager as well as the Frosty Editor Tools
The Frosty Mod Managerallows you load mods created by others or yourself, and to view which files specifically are being affected. It also acts as a game launcher so that mods are only applied for that instance, making it easy to play the vanilla game again.
The Frosty Editor is a unique tool that allows you to customize your MEA experience to your own liking. It is a powerful tool and these tutorials only touch the surface of what can be done with it. Everything from texture modding to character stats to weapon mods, this tool is all you need to create your favorite MEA experience. The Editor also acts as a game launcher, only writing to file for that instance. If you want to play vanilla, launch as you normally would through the game's .exe or Origin
Included are excel spreadsheets with the location of powerstats, weaponstats, armorstats, and playerstats for easy reference. Updated to Patch 1.09.
Shout out to bikeracer4487 for providing the armorstats spreadsheet! Thanks!
The tutorial was made with Frosty 1.0.1a, but remain essentially the same. see the change log offered by the DEV on Github for specifics.
NOTE: The excel spreadsheets may not be updated past patch 1.09.

Or
